Act Now - Write to the candidates of the major political parties
In previous elections commitments to medical research have been few and far between. We hope this time around to present a compelling case for investing now. We hope you will take the opportunity to support us in our efforts to drive greater investment in research and innovation, in universities, research institutes, hospitals and community settings.
Research Australia encourages all Australians to support Health and Medical
Research by writing to candidates of the major political parties.
You can download and adapt our standard letter which supports Research Australia's policy proposal or write your own.
Research Australia Letter to Candidates
We have also developed a questionnaire for the ALP and the Coalition asking them to address the issues health and medical research and innovation challenges the community is facing and we ask you to also ask them the same questions when writing to them.
