Research Australia Awards Hall of Fame
The annual Research Australia Awards celebrate the achievements of
individuals and organisations that have helped further Australian health
and medical research excellence through corporate giving, philanthropy,
advocacy or their own research contributions.
The Awards are nominated by Research Australia's members and decided by
the Research Australia Board of Directors.
In 2010 the Awards celebration will be held in
Sydney in November at a high profile event that brings together leaders
in research, industry and the philanthropic sector. Sponsorship

National Leadership in
Advocacy Award (special award category)
The National Leadership in Advocacy Award was a special award presented
to the Federal Minister for Health and Ageing Hon. Tony Abbott for his
personal commitment to raisings funds the Westmead Millennium Institute
through the Pollie Pedal bike ride.
