Bruce Hawker is Managing Director of leading Australian public affairs firm Hawker Britton. The firm specialises in government relations, strategic communications and campaigning.
Before establishing Hawker Britton in 1997, Bruce was former Premier Bob Carr’s chief of staff for nine years and played a central role in bringing the Labor Party to government in NSW.
Bruce continues to play a major role in politics, providing strategic campaign advice on State and Federal election campaign over the last ten years.
Bruce is also a respected political commentator. He is a regular panellist on SkyNews current affairs program Agenda, on 2BL’s public affairs programme and regularly appears on Channel 7’s Sunrise programme. He also writes for The Australian on political issues.
